1. Who we are

PokerTournaments101 (pokertournaments101.com) is a free poker strategy website. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to the operator of this site.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Email address — if you subscribe to the newsletter or create an account. Newsletter subscriptions are managed by Kit (ConvertKit). Account registration is handled by Supabase.
• Password — if you create an account. Passwords are hashed by Supabase and we never have access to them in plain text.
• Usage data — page views, referral sources, browser type, device type, and country, collected anonymously by Vercel Analytics. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.
• Saved data — if you are logged in, tournament schedule data you choose to save is stored in our Supabase database and associated with your account.

3. How we use your data

• To send you strategy articles and updates if you have subscribed to the newsletter
• To authenticate you and maintain your account if you have registered
• To save your tournament planner data across devices if you are logged in
• To understand which pages and tools are most useful (analytics only, no personal data)

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate this site:

• Vercel — hosting and analytics. Vercel Analytics collects anonymised page view data. See Vercel's privacy policy.
• Supabase — authentication and database. Your email and hashed password are stored in Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase's privacy policy.
• Kit (ConvertKit) — newsletter delivery. If you subscribe, your email address is stored by Kit. See Kit's privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics uses a privacy-friendly approach that does not set persistent cookies or track users across sites. Your account session, if you are logged in, uses a secure session cookie limited to this site.

6. Affiliate links

Some pages on this site contain affiliate links. If you click a link and sign up for a third-party service, we may receive a commission. Affiliate relationships have no influence on editorial content or strategic advice.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email
• Delete your account by contacting us

8. Data retention

Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised — no individual records are stored.
